# Brand kit

Use our wordmark and icon when you write about Andrey or link to it. Download what you need or
the full kit.

## Wordmark

Our wordmark is "Andrey" in Unbounded, with the A's right stroke in amber. Use the ink version on
light grounds and the pale version on dark grounds.

## Icon and avatar

Use the icon, the wordmark's A alone, in small spaces such as a favicon, an app tile, or a slide's
corner. The avatar places it on cobalt for profile pictures.

## Social preview

Use the social preview, 1280 x 640, where a post, a page, or a repository that links to Andrey
shows an image.

## The A

Andrey is named after two mathematicians, Andrey Markov and Andrey Kolmogorov. The A represents
the pair: one letter with two strokes, the right one amber and a step ahead. Keep the letter
whole, with its apex joined and its crossbar intact.

## Node and edge

We use the two parts of a causal graph as plain marks.

Each composition has one amber node or edge; everything else is ink, cobalt, and navy.

## Colors

## Type

- **Unbounded** is reserved for the wordmark. The files are outlines, so you can use them without
  the font.
- **Inter** sets everything else: text, interface, and titles over art.

Both fonts are free under the SIL Open Font License and available on
[Google Fonts](https://fonts.google.com/).

## Using the logo

Do:

- Use the files as they are, with room around them.
- Put the ink version on light grounds and the pale version on dark grounds.
- Use the icon or the avatar where the wordmark would be too small to read.

Don't:

- Recolor, stretch, outline, or add effects to the wordmark or the icon.
- Split the A, separate its strokes, or drop its crossbar.
- Retype the wordmark as "Andrey" in a font.
- Use the marks in a way that suggests Andrey endorses you or your product.
